Job Description

As a full time Certificate 3 and Diploma educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early learning experiences of children in our care. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to create a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. This role requires a genuine love for working with children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

This role will be in babies/toddlers room and there is professional development for career progression with a very supportive team who will welcome you with open arms.

Role and Responsibilites

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for childcare facilities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
