Our recruitment process
All of the candidates we register go through a strict recruitment process that includes but is not limited to:
- One on one face to face interview using situational and behavioural type questioning
- Work, Health and Safety Awareness training and testing
- Working with Children Check
- Child Protection Training
- Minimum of two childcare related reference checks
- Minimum of 200 hours childcare experience within Australia
- Agency workers handbook which outlines what may be expected of them throughout the day as an agency casual worker including WHS Guidelines and Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics
- Nappy Change Procedure as required by ACECQA
- Songs and Activities Book
- Teaching Philosophies handbook that is enriched with some of the teaching philosophies that are currently being practiced within Australia
