Our recruitment process

All of the candidates we register go through a strict recruitment process that includes but is not limited to:

  • One on one face to face interview using situational and behavioural type questioning
  • Work, Health and Safety Awareness training and testing
  • Working with Children Check
  • Child Protection Training
  • Minimum of two childcare related reference checks
  • Minimum of 200 hours childcare experience within Australia
  • Agency workers handbook which outlines what may be expected of them throughout the day as an agency casual worker including WHS Guidelines and Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics
  • Nappy Change Procedure as required by ACECQA
  • Songs and Activities Book
  • Teaching Philosophies handbook that is enriched with some of the teaching philosophies that are currently being practiced within Australia
