Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Float Educator to join this dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the staff across all rooms. Your role will involve providing consistent, high-quality care and education to children, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met, and assisting in the smooth operation of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and collaborate with educators across all rooms, providing flexibility and coverage where needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children, encouraging their development and learning through engaging activities.
- Assist in implementing educational programs and activities that align with the centre's philosophy and curriculum.
- Maintain open and effective communication with colleagues and families.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's practices and procedures.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in an early learning setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different rooms and with varying age groups.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the development of young children.
