Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Full-Time Centre Director to lead the team with a focus on growth and positive change for the families. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing occupancy levels. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an existing Assistant Director/2IC to progress into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct family tours and find new ways to increase occupancy levels within the service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee the implementation of a high-quality educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and reflects best practices in early childhood education.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, schools and the community.
  • Ensure the centre operates in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and procedures, including licensing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in ECEC or ACECQA approved equivalent.
  • Experience working in early childhood education, including previous assistant leadership or management roles.
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability and willingness to stay up to date with changes within the Early Years and to continue to learn and develop your skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing early childhood education and care.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check clearance.
