We are seeking passionate and reliable Casual Childcare Cooks to join our team! As a casual cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's health and wellbeing by preparing balanced meals that cater to dietary and cultural needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with centre menus and nutrition guidelines
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level
- Manage allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requirements with care and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with centre staff and contribute to a positive team environment
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen at all times
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery & Food Handling (or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in an early childhood service is highly regarded
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different centres across Sydney
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week
