As a casual employee, your working hours will vary week to week. You’ll work based on the demand of the childcare centres, covering gaps in their rosters.
You will receive a higher hourly rate than a permanent employee, as your pay will include a 25% casual loading to account for the absence of sick and annual leave benefits.
